Website ranks top on Bing and Yahoo but nowhere on Google

I've read the FAQs and searched the help center.
My URL is:
mywebsitehere.co.uk

Hi,

I know this kind of question has been asked before but I am confused as to why my site isn't showing in Google for very easy keywords. I'm not expecting amazing results in Google or to work the same as Bing and Yahoo - but think it ought to show higher than it currently.

I can't show the real URL here but have used a similar example here to hopefully demonstrate what is (or isn't!) happening.

the kewords i am searching with are basically the name of the domain in three words:

my website here

with my website being mywebsitehere.co.uk

------

Of the things I have looked at...
I think the site is very normal in structure etc. Has a good amount of text and keywords, good content and is a conventional site that a search engine shouldn't ignore.

I beleive the sites health is fine from webmaster tools and can't find any evidence of problems in Webmaster Tools and I think the site is crawled and indexed successfully by Google as the test of site:mywebsitehere.co.uk shows results.

This site is not new and had been performing as expected up until recently,

As I say the site is ranking top on some other search engines, that's what i'd expect really, can anyone give me any help as to what may be happening or things to look at? Has anyone had any problems with their site not showing on Google even for words that are the essence of the site and part of the domain name?

Any advice welcome, thanks!

You can rank with a boatload of spammy links in Yahoo, but in Google it works the opposite.

Previous garbage SEO work might be the culprit. But without knowing the website, its impossible to tell you anything more.

Man you have got to be a bot....yahoo and bing are the same search, unless you
are using Yahoo Japan. But then, I would imagine you would not know that.

Thanks for the reply Kevin. I don't think there were any bad SEO practices previously. I wish I could post the web address here but my hands are a bit tied.

I imagine it has recently come down, but as it is, it certainly isn't going to rank in any search engine. I would look into that!
