Ranking Well on Google

OK guys, I guess it's time for me to know more about ranking well on Google -- something that I neglected from the start of my internet marketing career.

So basically, I am just wondering how to rank well on Google?

What I know is that if you provide quality contents, get good PR and backlinks -- you will do well on Google.

Is there any method to rank well on Google?

    It is tough - very tough - and it is a full time job - and it takes time.

    • If you would like to rank well in Google then there are two things which you need to focus on.

      • Producing great content that is relevant to the keyword which you would like to rank for
      • Getting quality anchored text backlinks from many different types of places. You really need to diversify your link building in order to get the best results.
      That is really all it comes down to. It is all about staying focused and persistently building backlinks.

    • Build backlinks as you normally would? In order to create fresh new content for the search engines you could make a section for articles and then publish keyword targeted articles there.

    2. Basic internal SEO practices (title tag, proper H? use, no funny stuff)
    3. Get a lot of incoming links, preferably niche relevant, high PR, links but don't only concentrate on high quality, high PR, links.
  • For that kind of sites, building links is a huge priority. It would be better if you will put some text content, place a section where you can post articles with your targeted keywords included on it.!
  • You should find keywords phrase with 3 or more words (long tail keyword) and that it should not be too highly competitive. When you put the quotes on the keyword e.g "make money online", the search results should be less than 5,000.

    If you create a squidoo lens based on these, your article can rank easily on the 1st page of google in 2-14 days.
