Which is the best position on a site for Adsense placement?

Any ideas?

Is it better to intersperse Adsense IN your content itself or "border" your content with Adsense?

      Best adsense placement = on your forehead, as you got many people speaking to you everyday lol

      Naa but on webpages, people have said top right corner is a popular one. It depends on a variety of things, do test different positions to get a variety of results.

    • Above the content has worked well for me as well as wrapped to the left. It all depends on the site and the niche. It sounds cliche but experiment until you find the best layout.

  • It really depends. I know that 200 x 320 has a statiscally better click through rate and these are usually embeded within your main content. Leader board 's can also be very good right at the top of your page, just below your site header.

      Just think about all the Corporates - what do they do when they launch a product - they stick it EVERYWHERE so you can't miss it.

      TV - Internet - on Buses - on Cabs - on Bus Stops - In the Paper - In the Magazines - the list goes one.

      Basically - they force you to consider it.

      For example, if you write long interesting articles having adsense ad's mid body of the article makes sense.

      You should test different units in different places to get the best results for your site.

      There is no one size fits all answer to your question.
  • The following works great for me.
    a) 160 X 600 – This ad Unit performs really good on the top left corner.
    b) 336 X 280 – This ad Unit performs the best when you put it right under the header of each blog post.
    c) 728 X 15 – This link Unit performs well when you put it on the menu.
