Ranking YouTube video on Google.com.au

I have ranked a local business YouTube video to the first page of Google but I need to rank it to the first page of google in Australia which is the .com.au. At the moment it is on page 4 for the main keyword.

Any suggestions on how to move this video to the first page of Google.com.au

    Hey Savo,

    Have you tried setting your location in the video settings? As well, I think it may be useful to add in some geographic keyword tags. For example if you're currently targeting How to get a free laptop, free laptop, free laptop offer you can toss in Sydney, Australia, Melbourne or Free laptop Melbourne.

    This should provide some context for your video. Lastly though likely not the most efficient is local links such as listings in local classified ads or .com.au blogs.

    We've done a lot of Video SEO since 2010 and still do yet to be honest I haven't tried specifically trying to rank specifically for Google.com.au

    You need .au links.

    Find relevant sites within your niche from .au domains and contact them and see if they'll let you submit some content on their site linking back to your video.

    get all the keywords that are highly searched and are related to your video in that area. This can be done if you are using the keyword planner by changing the location to Australia so that you can get the Australia results that are necessary.

    Try to get more backlinks from .au sites. Also make sure to geo-tag your video in youtube advanced seetings and add Australia as a country there.
