What are the best tools out there?

I am looking for something, preferably excel based that can produce a some wow graphics and decent looking tables.

Perhaps a plug in?

It will help you delve deeper into your data and create visualizations. You can also automate your reporting while sending customized reports to each client.

Excel reports will waste a lot of your time. Reporting is the #2 biggest time drain for an account manager.
