My question is in the title, I'm not interested in backlinks here, majestic SEO or AHrefs is more than enough to reverse engineer a competitor website backlink strategie, if you want to say something about backlink, please do it, this thread might be helpful for many people.

My biggest question here, would be related With content and mainly with internal links.

    When it comes to internal linking a silo structure similar to wikipedia is far superior to anything else.
    Content... hmm try to contact the competitors authors and give them a better deal or re-publish improved competitor content in your own words.

  • Just have a look and analyze their sites manually. See how they wrote the content how they structured it how they build internal links etc. Just open a notepad file and take notes. That`s the easiest way to do it

      I did used screaming frog before, it is quite hard to understand the UI of the software.
