Now google prefers natural backlinks only. I do not want to get any penalty.

If he does everything right, the backlinks will look natural and will avoid any algorithm penalties. Not to scare you, but 99% of my new customers that have had previous SEO work have a lot of bad work to clean up.

And what country is this gent in... Don't touch it with a ten foot pole unless you can find a few folks he has done this for and you trust those folks also.. Also for that kind of money I would want to see a site or two that has had this technique done... you see only one person can ever give you guaranteed page 1 permanent... and that is a fellow by the name of Google.

The duration is only 2-3 months to bring them up on the top page, according to the seller..... If you will get REAL natural backlinks, it should be slow.

Its easy and possible to get top 1 or 2 or 3rd position with in 3 month. visitor visit on your site but there is no guarantee that visitor buy your product or services .

If my site is brought up onto the 1st page in a keyword, it would be more chance to make sales anyways rather then 2 or 3 page. But for sure if the keyword I will provide will be up to 1 st page, I will at least 20-30 orders based on my previous company which got at least 50-80 orders /day.

Good to see this but you should to know, what work is he going to do. If once your keywords come in first page of Google, after all you need SEO guys so you need to invest in SEO till your business exist. So take report monthly or weekly basis. It will help you in coming days. So hope every thing will be fall in right place.

Guarantee for what? If someone claims to rank a website "permanently" on google then something's definitely wrong with him. However if the SEO does the keyword research himself and selects keywords that he, given the budget is enough, can rank then i cant see why he shouldnt offer guarantees.

Because seo is a moving target no matter how good you think your seo is.

IMO the language that should be used is "well mr client, as you may know seo is an ever changing landscape and although we can't guarantee you those results, we can promise you we use up to date strategies that have proven to be working right now"

The problem is people buy hope and hype and not ethics.

I agree with you. "Permanently"..... But even if the keywords stay on the first page for 3months, I am happy but it should not drop far....

I highly doubt that anyone would actually refund your money if things didn't go as expected. And I don't think after 45 days you can file a dispute through PayPal…if you're paying through PayPal that is.

I don't really need to do SEO in my niche but I've hired a few SEO "experts" before for experimentation ….what a waste! They either got a page penalized, site penalized or removed all links afterwards. Better to do things yourself or not at all.

Red flags in this: promise to get top results, the word "permanently" because it's impossible, "1000% safe" because manipulating SERPs almost never is completely without risk, and the fact that after receiving a pitch you still don't know what the service really does.

I would pass.

Also, watch out how you pay this guy.

If you pay it through Paypal, they will only help you for like a month to get a refund back. If you decide to ask for your refund after 3 months, you're on your own and you would need a lawyer who could track this guy down and sue him.. which is probably much more expensive than the 500 dollars you're getting back.
