Clickbank with PPC Hoplinks

I'm brand new to clickbank and I don't want to waste my time and money so I thought I'd ask for some advice.

I know using clickbank hoplinks with adwords is not allowed, but what about using other PPC websites?

Is it possible to get a clickbank product, pay for some PPC advertising and get sales from your hoplink on that ad? Is it at all effective?

    As far as I know, there is no blanket ban on Clickbank by Adwords. It is just many Clickbank products are not allowed by Adwords. Bing is reported to have less restrictions.

      I thought about Bing as well. But do people actually have success simply using PPC on clickbank products?

    I have had success direct linking to a clickbank product. I was promoting a dating offer using a 2nd tier ad network. It worked for a while until the offer became saturated, so I eventually ditched it!

    Do not use any ppc with clickbank products. When I was first starting out I did that and lost much more than I made. It's simply not profitable.
