Hey guys,

If I was setting up a 10 page website but forwarding the home page, would this effect the SEO of the site?

What I mean is;

mydomain.com/page1 , mydomain.com/page2 etc were all keyword targeted and pages that I was trying to rank well within the serps.

However, if I didn't really have a use for my home page and instead just used a meta refresh to forward it to a different site, would this effect the ability to rank well on the other pages?

For example, mydomain.com/page1 , mydomain.com/page2 were the pages I wanted to rank for however, mydomain.com forwarded to another site.

Please let me know if I need to explain myself better, after re-reading it, it does appear to be a bit confusing to understand.

Cheers!

    Its okay with 301 redirect
    & Don't go with 302 and 303 redirect.

    And however, the page which is promoted will be ranked well and the page forwarded to will be gaining the traffic of the promoted page.
