Crawl Errors - Links Non-Existant

Can someone please help me with some crawl errors I have showing up?

The crawl error URLs are in fact 404s, but I don't know where those URLs are coming from. Webmasters says that Google is finding them from other pages on my site, but when I go to those pages, the URL coming up as a 404 isn't on the page. How is Google finding these non-existent URLs? It's as if Google is making them up...

Can anyone help with this?

Run Screaming Frog & see what 404s show up on your site, it's way easier than messing with WMT data which could be outdated data considering WMT is slow about updating.

    • Thanks Yukon. I did run Spider and it showed a significant decrease in crawl errors. The only thing I don't understand is why WMT is showing new crawl errors every day. I know you said its outdated, but how is it showing new errors?
