Question - I work for a larger company that has all those elements but those pages rank poor. Would blasting those pages with WF link services help their rank? Or just be a waste of time/money?

Yes they would work on a youtube video. It would rank high in both google and youtube.

Yes, but its not that simple. These days you need to blast them from multiple sources with decent PR/PA. You're going to need software to do this. Also be conservative with your anchor text. Go branded and URL at least 50%.

This method is also very churn-and-burn. Sites rarely stick on first page for longer than a few months. There's ways to make them stick on page 1, just as if a webpage would, but of course that costs more money.

  • I like nik0s keyword variations:

I actually plan to do something similar with my seo but change up a few % numbers and test what works best.

Our main site does well. The issue is that we have two bad articles written about us that show up on Google page 1 when you search our brand name.

And so since we have a YouTube, Vimeo, Wikipedia & LinkedIn page just below those bad articles, we want to try to improve the rankings of those pages to lower the page rank of the negative articles.

Is there a better way to achieve getting rid of the bad articles?
