Hi all,
I am running technical blog and getting approximate 1400-1600 pageviews per day. 5 Days back I got adsense approval and I integrated into my blog. But my income is tooo low i.e. .30$-.60$ per day. I got 60% of my traffic from India. Is it the right amount for 1400-1600 visitors or I am missing something.
My second concern is today I viewed my visitors using analytics and it shows me 1700 pageviews but adsense is only showing me 1100 page views.
My third concern is adsense is not giving any costpermillion amount. Does it pays for 1000 views or not.

I am using following ad formats:
1) Near Header: 728x90 Image ad.
2) Below my post title: 300x250 Rectangle.
3) In my sidebar : 200x90 links.

Kindly suggest me how to increase revenue. I have read many articles/comments on internet and most of people says they are earning more than 3$ with this number of visitors and with indian traffic.

Thanks

What is your CTR & CPC? These figures you can get from Adsense Performance page/sheet.

Iv found the Large Adsense block 300x250 gets a great CTR if you place it in the top left corner.

That placement always gets more clicks from my experience.

That CTR is ugly man. Look at some guides about getting a higher CTR and you will be golden.

            Hi lv1986,

You have selected a niche that is famous for very low CTR, and targeting traffic from a country that most advertisers are not willing to spend much on. It is what it is, you won't make much money trying to tweak it, so don't set your expectations very high on that niche.

Perhaps if you find a sub-niche within that niche that does okay, and you target traffic from other countries, you can eventually make some money.

Your CTR & CPC indicate that you are getting no clicks at all. Are you getting organic visitors? What is your niche?
