Premium Domain... Can I get traffic without SEO???

Hello all,

I am a part time domainer and decided recently to develop 3 domains instead of selling them as is. One of them is an aged Premium with the keyword "Caribbean Food".

I am not an SEO fan as I got a lot of de-indexation previously and want to avoid areas where I dont have expertise. I am thinking alternatively to create 100 articles with unique content and try to update them frequently. The keywords for each will be of very low competition.

Given this is in place and proper on-page SEO, can I get ranked high on google easily?

The reason again for refraining from using SEO is the latest emphasis added for Social media. Very time consuming to be able to do FB integrations and stuff like that, and then sharing and have people share it. Much easier to add more quality content.

The domain cost me quite a bit of cash, content will as well. Just want to make sure this is going to pay off. In short with the above scenario, can I reach thresholds like 20K unique visitors with a total keywords volume of 300K? Any success stories with similar scenarios?

Thanks a lot for reading until here

There really isn't a way to accurately answer this question. Carribean food isn't a terribly competitive phrase however it requires knowing what kind of backlinks the site has, what are their quality, how old the domain is and a million other factors.

Yes it is POSSIBLE to get this site to rank well in perhaps a week to 10 days IF you put some good content on it once every day and ASSUMING the backlinks are good.

But "possible" leaves a lot of room open for it to not happen which means you may want to consider other methods of traffic generation besides just SEO.

I want to do this without any SEO!!!! And additionally, If I do a lot of SEO in 1 week, I will be de-indexed instantly by google! Penguin update detects this now!

Look into schema.org, this could be your ticket especially if you don't want to do any backlinking.

Btw it's 100% whitehat so you won't run into any google penalties. Should work fairly well if your niche isn't super competitive.

It's very likely you'll get some traffic from long-tail keyword search. Not sure how you make money from those traffic. It's also very likely the revenue from the traffic won't be enough to cover the cost of domain and content. I have a few old domains (10 years old) and they get some traffic from non-competitive keywords without any link building. But I didn't bother to add more content because it isn't justified by revenue.

Find your audience and generate traffic from other sources.
