html validater errors

Hi,
I am opimizing my site, and angela is just about to put 80 backlinks on for me. I am good at designing, but rubbish when it comes to source code and css, h1 tags etc.
here is my question, I think I finished my site and put it through the html validation, it came back with lots of errors, which I dont understand.
I have put h1 tag in my page title which has some relevant keywords.
i have 13 keywords,
do I need to worry about the html validator, and should I be putting more heading tags in.
will 80 quality backlinks be enough?
is there a good tutorial for putting in backlinks (for future)

    a good coded site does have some effect, not a great deal, but it helps to have it compliant. show us the page, you can send me a PM if you want and I'll check it out for you and see if there are any errors...

    personally i dont rely on these validaters, most are not very accurate.
