Hi,
Guys I really tiered finding Good article directories. I don't know why there are not many article directories available to post articles. is this true that people are not creating enough directory sites. And if you find some then you probably will see them full of spam articles. Therefore I am starting this fresh thread and want you great warriors to contribute to the list I will keep updating this thread regularly with new article directories..

please show your generosity by adding only working good article directories this is not about spam sites only great sites that review articles before sending them live.

One of the good high Google pagerank article directory is Letsbefamous.com Pagerank: 5 and Do Follow link.

  Article directories appear to now be dead.
  
  We have received a reply from google today about un-natural links. The example links they gave were all on "well known and respected" article directories such as Ezine Articles and Sooperarticles.
  
  These go back as far as 2010 :confused: and were genuine unique articles but google in their God like way now say we must pay.
  
  The only way I can see of ranking now is by PBN or similar.

  It will work, but sometimes you have to give nature a boost. Cultivating relationships with people who already reach and influence the audience you seek is the way to go.
  
  And do it by adding value to them. The most accessible to most marketers, especially beginners, is through thoughtful and useful blog commenting. Not spam, not brown nosing, not throwaway "nice post" filler. Contributing to, and furthering the conversation of, posts on influential sites can get you on their radar and make gaining those natural links easier.
  
  Most won't do it, though. It takes two NSFIMF* words, time and work.

You should only focus on the top 5 to 7 article directories for purposes of syndication, in my humble opinion, the rest can help a little but what good are they if the majority of the people are going to the top articles directories for content like ezinearticles.com

  There are no longer top article directories.
  
  We have had high quality unique articles on article directories and google have said they are bad links.

There was a time, when you could have seen some results from article directories when search for certain keywords at Google. For last 8+ months, I haven't seen a single search result from article directories. This shows, how Google is ignoring article directories as a whole.

I just checked the statistics of one of my sites and I am still getting visitors from Ezine Articles. I only put up about 40 articles, and only on Ezine Articles, but they are still generating traffic. I must add some more.

You have not included Ezinearticles in your list? It is the king of article directories. If done correctly, it can yield positive results but you have to be consistent. I am doing well on Ezine for myself and my clients. So, it can still be said article marketing can work if done properly and consistently.

For personal growth niche, selfgrowth.com is also an excellent place.

My take on this is that you need to post all original and quality content so that in the process you will gain authority in the eyes of Google. You don't need to spam the directories with daily articles. You can have it twice a way, so long as the article gives value to the readers.

Cheap and poorly put together PBN's will always be smashed pretty quickly.

The better SEO's out there know how to structure their networks so they don't look like networks. Their sites have the look and feel of legitimate blogs that visitors would want to return back to.

I've seen this over and over, with new PBN owners getting frustrated at fast de-index rates and veterans holding on to their (what once would have been) PR 5 - 7 domains for years and years with no problems.

So yes, PBNs generally have always been under attack by Google but the poorly constructed ones are those that get hit first and fast.

Regarding article directories I am waiting for Alexa to stop by and chime in on proper article marketing and article directory distribution since the former happens to be her expertise

**I know this isn't the SEO forum but it feels really silly to say that all PBN's are the same. They're simply not, because some marketers have way more experience than others and so some networks will last quite a bit longer than others. Additionally, with the proper high quality articles in place article directories can be a nice way to funnel targeted traffic, not necessarily link juice (pagerank) which would be an SEO topic

  Is submitting to article directories an effective use of your marketing time and (and sometimes) money?
  
  No.
  
  There are much more productive things that you should be doing.
  
  Making decent money online requires that you work smart.
  
  Here's a question for you: What are the chances that a highly targeted prospect in "buying mode" is going to go to a directory site and spend time digging for your article?
  
  What is the chance that a site owner in your niche is going to republish your article, with your links, on his site? (especially when he has seen the spammy nature and low quality of most directory articles?)
  
  There are much smarter ways to attract buying customers.

Things are completely changed, no social sharing is becoming more and more valuable along with high CTR if visitors are coming to your website and then sharing content its really good. More and more social shares you have better will be result..I personally just doing social shares only..
