Hello!

I am launching a new online store, and i am planning to post the web link in a lot of groups in Facebook, using another account not the one of my FB fanpage...in order to get visits to my store without passing by my fanpage..

I am afraid if i spread the post with link all over many groups and maybe get classify as spam in FB (i don't cate if i lost that account),and it can affect my SEO in Google.

I read somewhere that all links posted on Facebook are "not follow" but...

¿Does any one knows what can happen or whats the best strategy?

Thanks!

    Hello There!

I can tell your new to this, this is a truly awful idea.
Spamming links over Facebook will do nothing for your SEO and nobody it going to naturally share/ link or click through a link that has been spammed.

If anything, you will loose followers etc.

Read through the forums on white hat SEO. From experience, Social Media -can- be good for traffic if you invest a lot of time in it, but it will not help your SEO very much.

This isn't exaclty true. Social signals do help your SEO, if done properly. However, if your site all of a sudden gets a lot of links from social platforms, it may get suspicious.

Are the groups related to your site's content, such as you are advertising in a group that welcomes ads about similar content? If you are using the ads purely for promotion, then you are likely to get direct traffic. However, it's debatable as to how much benefit these links would have for SEO. It's possible Google doesn't care how many times your link appears on Facebook, (as in, they won't really give you any link juice for those links anyway) but Facebook might, if they think you are spamming.

      Hello!

      Thanks for the replay.

Actually i am not interesting in get a better seo, I am afraid of get a negative seo.

I am doing natural white hat seo, and social media campaigns, but i am looking for any new opportunity to increase the traffic and reach new potencial clients (I don't want to improve my seo, i just want to not decrease it)

Yes i am planning to post them in groups related with my page and that accept Advertisements.

I know that if i post in a few groups nothing will happen, but what happen if i do that too much?...

I also did it for a while, each time I published a post I posted it at my Facebook page and at Twitter, did totally nothing for my rankings.
