Need Some Warrior Advice!

Okay, so I am currently building my list using PPC and sending that traffic directly to my "squeeze" page. So far I am seeing good results and have a list of close to 200 people (only made 1 sale so far).

After seeing a webinar the other day I am thinking of testing a different approach which is sending PPC traffic to a blog (sniper like site) with a main article recommending an affiliate product from click bank and my squeeze page in the "upper-right" corner of the page to capture leads.

I have always wanted to create a nice blog that is highly optimized and throw a bunch of traffic at it and see what converts but still pretty new to the game...I know split testing is my best approach...

Does anyone have any input on both of these strategies?

Do you prefer one over the other?

Thanks for the help,

Evan

  • There is really no way to know for sure without testing. Direct to a ssqueeze page performs well for some products, for others you'll want to 'soft sell' a little more by going through a blog.

Your best bet is to do both for a while. Direct half your PPC traffic to the blog, and half to the squeeze page for a couple week. Then analyze the results.

    Good luck!

Great thanks, that's what I am planning on doing for the next month or so...I have a set amount I can put towards PPC each week and will really test out both strategies to see what is more profitable

Send your traffic to a squeeze page you'll have higher conversions.

Absolutely do a blog if you want to. But having a successful blog means adding content daily.

You need to make sure you'll enjoy having a blog because it may not be your 'home run' or it just might

Good advice...I think I will create a blog just for a side project and test sending some PPC traffic to see if any of my affiliate products convert form the main post...and also to see how many op-ins I get from my squeeze page in the top right corner...
