I am in the process of creating a content website. I currently make my living via drop shipping on amazon and Ebay. So, the subject of my website is, of course, online selling.

I have learned a lot about how to properly research and place keywords and how to structure the website properly. However, I don't know what a proper expectation or goal for my website should be.

I hoping to make the website live with between 100 to 200 articles written and keep building from there. I plan to use adsense and similar programs to monetize.

The expectations that I have heard range from I should set my goal to make $1.50 per page on the website, per month.....to as high as $4.00 per page on the website, per month.

Can someone please tell me what a reasonable goal or expectation should be for me to work toward?

(I don't want to spend unnecessary time trying to improve pages that are actually performing well, but I don't know what performing well is at this point)
