That could have been a single site wide link being dropped.

WMT doesn't display all of your site's links anyway. It's not worth worrying about.

That can be as simple as a blog comment sidebar widget having a new comment. Sometimes blogs have widgets where the latest commenter has a link from ALL of the pages on the site. Then when new comments come in it pushes yours off of the widget. Thus you gain a lot of links and lose a lot of links quickly.

Or, maybe you just lost another sitewide link somehow.

You really shouldn't worry with the day to day fluctuation of links.

This is the most likely reason. If you are using blog comment links as part of your strategy, expect huge fluctuations in your link numbers.

The Major Drop in Backlinks are from these links. It is not related to Blog Fluctuations,
      sys-con.com,
      ulitzer.com,
      cloudsecurityalliance.org,
      cymbel.com,
      designersatwork.org,
      broadwayworld.com,
      plxads.com
I checked these links, these are of High quality links, they doesn't seem to be spam. If you say their might be certain spam links?, can u suggest me how to verify those links.

Well, what kind of backlinks were they? How did you get them in the first place? How do you usually "increase" your link count?

The sites seem to be legitimate, but you cant say that every backlink from them is of high quality.

Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.
Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

        What's your excuse?

The above links are just few top backlinks of my site.
I usually get increased by 200 backlinks per week, sometimes 600 too.

Please help yourself by actually answering the question. If you know what kind of links they were it helps to explain why they might've been deleted. Forum signatures, blog comments, sidebar links, ads, links in actual articles... Did you do something to get these links, or is someone spontaneously linking to your site?

X2. **WHAT** are you using to get "200-600" links a week?

It sounds like you're using GSA or automated software. In which case its perfectly normal to lose that many links.

Additionally, you need to consider the following:

              1) If you're using ahrefs to check your links, ahrefs is known to be buggy. Especially these last couple months. There's been times where I checked my links one day and they were at 35k, the next day I checked and they were at 300, a few days later they were at 10k, a few weeks later they were back at 35k. So backlink checkers by nature are inconsistent.

              2) Blog comments like everyone else said.

              3) Links falling off a page like a sidebar widget, sitewide etc.

              4) Webmasters deleting your links cause their crap.

Its really not rocket science man. Its either a glitch in the tool you use to check your links, or your links are gone. There is no other explanation. Nobody is stealing your links, your links didn't remove themselves, its as much a mystery as you are informed about the backlinks you're building. And the mere fact that you don't know what's causing it, tells me that you don't actually know anything about the links you're building. Cause if you did, you wouldn't be asking this question in the first place.

Where were you getting the Links from?

The sites could have been using "Black-hat" tactics and therefore were dropped by Google, thus causing you to lose all related links.

    OR

There could just be a "Bug" in the system. I would suggest using another Link Checking Tool

Don't worry about your backlink count - it doesn't matter, and they're probably not worth keeping if they disappear that quickly...

You should back up and start with using other backlink checking tools to determine the links issue. WMT is a horrible place for backlink data as it only shows a portion of links and often extremely outdated results as well.
