Living in the UK building a website for a US audience

Hi everyone,

I have a new amazon affiliate website which is targeting US customers instead of UK ones. All of my sites previously have targeted people in the country I live (UK)

From an SEO point of view, is there anything I need to do differently to rank on google.com instead?
