Not Sure How Spammy Links Are Being Added Each Month

We recently helped a client to get a manual penalty removed by undertaking a disavow exercise. This problem was created by other companies that had worked on this site.

However this site continues to have rubbish links being added each month, this is not from us and nobody else is working on it, has anybody heard about this sort of thing before and what can be done to stop it.

Thanks

I doubt you can stop this besides keeping your disavow file updated.

I've couple of sites that are getting shitty links from left and right on weekly basis. Someone is spending a fortune on fiverr. I haven't done much to stop this.

Occasionally, once a month or so I gather all the links that I've received - analyze them and add the spammy ones to disavow file. So far so good.

However, if you have time I highly suggest you to reach out to webmasters and kindly ask them to remove your link(s). Heck, you can even help them to reduce the spam on their sites by giving how-to tutorials or other suggestions/tips. Don't expect much to be removed, I usually get anywhere between 15% - 20% links removed, but I guess disavow tool does the trick.

I think this might be the competitors move they are trying to force down the website by creating bad links I am afraid but there is nothing more you can do rather than keep on cleaning the back link profile regularly.

Are you sure they are added continuously? Or they are just links that google took too much time to find out. It could be some silly competitor.
