Problems with Adwords for Shopify store

Hi warriors,

I would like to ask if someone has similar experience as me. I care about Adwords campaigns for a client. The problem is, many of the ads were disapproved for "url not working".

I tried literaly everything - proxies, website speed tests, google webmaster tools. It doesn't seem there is a problem with the website.

When I contact adwords support, they claim they are getting 404 error. However, some of the ads were approved and some were not - using the same destination.

One of the links that is not working for adwords is petit-paris.me/collections/cupid-intimates

I would appreciate any advice, I have no idea what else I can try. :confused: Shopify support replied they cannot do anything.

Hi Peter,

That can happen if the website is down for a period of time. If the destination URLs were down temporarily, the ads would have been disapproved due to the pages being unavailable at the moment that the destination URLs were being reviewed.

After you have tested the ad's destination URL, and you are positive that it is returning a HTTP response code status of "200 OK", just make a small change to the text of you ad and save the change. This will cause the disapproved ad to be deleted and the new, slightly changed, ad will go in the queue for review. As long as the destination URL is working at the time of the human review of your ad it should resolve this issue.

Another thing to check is to make sure that your webserver is not blocking traffic from some IP Addresses that AdWords reviewers are using and that the page works for all browsers.
