Brand new here looking to start PPC Campaigns. I keep seeing lead impact, Direct CPV and media traffic mentioned. Can anyone make a recommendation?

The three you mentioned are more for PPV (Pay per view) in which you can get tons of crap traffic if you do not know what you are doing.

For what it's worth (Been doing PPC 12+ years), I would start off with Bing Ads :
Advertise on the Yahoo Bing Network - Bing Ads Search Advertising

Stay off the content network, and you can still keep your bids pretty darn low with quality traffic.
