Ok I have a very fast vps that I have been using to run gsa ser, gsa captcha breaker, gsa seo indexer, and ultimate demon. I have been only using 10 dedicated private proxies per month from proxy hub. I just now got scrapebox and I am wondering if I should use a new batch of proxies just for scrapebox becuase I ust the 10 proxies for the all the softwares on my vps and for mass video blaster on my desktop. Can anyon give me an estimae of how many proxies you think I hould be usuing.

Every time I use a Scrapebox function I harvest and test new proxies using Scrapebox and then only use the Google proxies. I usually end up with at least 40.

It takes a bit longer but the time is worth it.

Theoretically, use as many proxies as you can. But practically, they are expensive. So I recommend to use at least 40-50 proxies, so that they can be used randomly with variations.

    Admittedly I'm new to scrapebox.

But I've found that it's easy to harvest about 1000 anonymous google proxies in about 30 minutes. I do a major scrape most every night before I go to bed and am finding the scrapebox proxie harvester to be fairly strong at retrieving them. I just finished collecting over 1500 in one go.

But they burn out very fast.. Very very fast.

I don't use them for anything but scraping. I do all of my posting the old fashioned manual way.

Slowly but surely I'm learning how to use this program.

I suggest using 10 private proxies per software to get it running. If you want a high submission rate then getting more private proxies to use with your software is advisable.

I can confirm that no hands proxies is a good software for scraping public proxies which you can use and import to GSA SER conveniently.

I often buy 40 proxies or more to run. You can find good proxy provider out there, but i recommend sharedproxies.com. it's stable, well support and cheap.

Private proxies gives you way better results. I wouldnt use them for scraping though, but stricktly for posting.

Your posts will stick more then scraped proxies.

Private proxies don't always give better results. Part of the reason I don't use private proxies is because I bought them from 3 different suppliers and each supplier made my LPM drop dramatically.

When I switched back to public my LPM when back up again. I know that theoretically, private are suppose to be better. But that was absolutely NOT what my experience was.

Especially with GSA. I'd buy 30 proxies, load them in and in 15-30 minutes they'd all be banned.

Then I'd contact the person I bought them from, wait, get them replaced, plug them back in, and they'd get banned within 30 minutes again.

I tried increasing time out settings, tried tweaking a lot of things but they always get banned fast just like my public proxies.

But the benefit with public proxies is you can get hundreds of them fast.

The quality of the proxies might be lower, but when you have so many of them does it really matter?

I'm probably the only person in the world who has GSA on a fast dedicated server but is still using public proxies. All I know is I like them. It's far less hassle. No buying then replacing every 30 minutes. I just let GSA scrape them automatically and there's no need to monitor my proxies every hour of every day of every week etc etc.

Red, so you don't buy any proxies anymore? Nice!
