Hi there,

I have a website that is ranked 1st on Bing and nowhere on Google for a medium competitive keyword. It is a website with the same design and concept (but original content) like one of my previous websites, so that's why maybe Google doesn's like it.

I am thinking to buy a SEO service, so you are free to suggest me some that you have tried that gave results :-) My budget is about 20-50$.

P.S. Please spear me with "Don't do it, go white hat" talk.

well that's because they have different algorithms, we all know that google has a lot of updates on their algo with leads to downfall of many websites unlike bing and yahoo, they still using the meta contents and number of links.

There could be only one reason:

    1. You are still building links the old way.

Your SEO sucks as far as Google algo is concern, you need to focus on quality rather than quantity.

Just to say that almost 95% of webmasters pay attention to their GOOGLE rankings only (or at least mostly to it!). They are working on it, so don't expect to be so easy to outrank TOP 10 websites for any keyword. In Bing, there is another algorithm which can help even NEWLY created websites to get on 1st page within even a few months for a very strong keyword without so many efforts... Be sure to work without breaking ANY SEO rule and I am sure that you will reach the top in no time!

Both Google and Bing use different ranking factors to rank websites. Testing your website on Google's Design and content guidelines, Technical guidelines and Quality guidelines can disclose reason behind it.

Interesting situation. They use different algorithm for sure but lot of factors must be same because it can't be different to check the quality of a single website.
In your case, I doubt about the role of social media. Bing takes lot of social signals to evaluate a website while Google doesn't consider any one. Bing has tie up with Facebook while Google has only access of public data. Otherwise it is hard to believe you are nowhere in Google. There might be different of pages but this is surprise.

I'm having the exact opposite problem!

I'm ranking well on Google but almost non-existent on Bing.

Eh, I'd be happy and leave it alone. Especially if it's for a fairly competitive term. The last thing you want to do is screw up your #1 ranking on Bing AND still get nowhere on Google.

Just keep doing what you're doing IMO.
