ROTFLMAO!

When a webmaster argues to Google that he/she has their own limitations, that they simply cannot afford the $5k per month ridiculous marketing budget to buy advertising and magazine level content for their plumbing business

So, are you a webmaster, or a plumber? I know some of you are into local,
but seriously. If you have a real business, you have a real business. Period.
Why do people expect in 2014 to have nothing but free advertising, sales leads,
etc.?

I get slammed by this in the past for similar rants. But if you are a legit plumber,
with a legit license, and a legit business, and you are relying on being a webmaster
to get in SERPS, for your business to be successful, you are an idiot.

.....his hands were tied by technology, and the admittedly excessive delays were also (perhaps even mostly) in just trying to keep up with spammers while still protecting site owners against their numerous negative SEO attempts.

Nothing new in the article.

For me, the fact is that G has become so obsessed with stopping seo or what they, in their infinite wisdom, deem to be spam, that they have thrown the baby (good, relevant results) out with the bath water (stopping spam). For my searches, I use Bing because I get much much better results.

When the general public realizes that Bing gives better results, G will have to change. But G will not change until then.

Ah we've been fishing the same river for years, my hot spots just a little upriver to you. Was it a Doxx fish you caught?, these days I try catch everything I can. Just different faces, different places.

I love catching a big doxx every now and then. Most of the time it's just a little guy but every now and then you get to wrestle a big one out of the water... Sometimes it can be really rewarding - particularly if there's been any unknown and unauthorized spawning as happens in that particular river we fish in....

Pickles and pints would really be my preference though.
