How does one start with SEO'ing?

I am brand new to the SEO area and I want to know how to build my site and gain popularity. So where do I begin?

  • I would read almost all TOP topics in this or related forums. Ask questions if you don't know anything... And of course do NOT give up if you are not successful 1st time. SEO is a LONG and something a DIFFICULT job to do!
  • Just to share with you. You have to do on page SEO first and create great contents to your site. Then only you start with off page SEO such as link building.
  • You should invest in developing unique content. SEO will become a lot easier
