My Google Adsense Account has Been Hijacked ! Your Advice Needed Here.

Hi Warriors,

I have have been using my Ad Sense account for years but I recently noted something was amiss. I have decided to ask in public forum since I have posted severally on Google Forums but no one has even bothered to assist me with ideas.

How it Started
The last time I logged last week, I was prompted to upgrade to the new Google Adsense interface. Since I upgraded I have not been able to log in to my Ad sense account yet I successfully log into my Gmail.

When I looked at ad sense details through Gmail Data Tools, I realized the Payee name had been changed and the address too.

When I try to change in the settings I am not able to log to Ad Sense. I decided to take it the next step further, I decided to reapply so that I would bring to attention the problem to the ad sense team.

When I reapplied immediately got this email:

Thank you for your interest in Google AdSense. While reviewing your application, we noticed that your account information matches a currently approved AdSense account associated with XXXXX@gmail.com. Because our policies do not permit multiple accounts, we're unable to accept your new application at this time.
If you'd like to add XXXX@gmail.com as a login to your approved account, you can do so by following these steps:
  • Sign in to the AdSense account associated with XXXXX@gmail.com at www.google.com/adsense.
  • On the 'Home' tab, click the 'Account settings' link in the left navigation bar.
  • On the 'Account settings' page, scroll down to the 'Access and authorization' section at the bottom of the page.
  • Under 'Users with sign-in access', enter XXXX@gmail.com and click 'Invite'.
Once you've invited XXXXX@gmail.com as a login to your account, please check that address for an email invite and follow the instructions to add this new login.
If you can’t access your approved account with jackpanaitojp@gmail.com, please follow the steps in our login troubleshooter. If you aren’t able to regain access to your account using this process, you’ll find an option to contact us. We’ll then work with you to access your account with your desired login.

I am 100% sure I don't have any other ad sense account with this email, I even don't have access to the email they wrote there.

Am wondering, does it mean my account was hacked and if so, what step should I take. I am completely confused like a deer in headlights.

I have decided to ask for help here since all my attempts are futile and I am tied of running all over the internet looking for solutions like a headless chicken. :confused:

Any assistance will be appreciated.

    OP, you already posted the support URL. What could anyone here possibly do to help you login into a gmail account?

      I am trying to find out if anyone else has had a similar problem.that the objective. I can log into Gmail account but I cant access ad sense.

        You need to be talking to Adsense support from the same gmail account that Adsense account was originally connected. That's your proof that your the owner of the account.

        I have no idea why your trying to create a new Adsense account, doesn't make any sense. I'm sure you'll end up red flagging your IP If you keep submitting new Adsense applications when you already had an Adsense account (you get one account per person).

          I also sent an email to the new person who supposedly stole my account and he replied and I am following up. I will post the updates.

            How is a public forum going to help with something private like an Adsense account? I doubt the Adsense support trolls forums looking for people to help. I guess you posted on the public Google webmaster forum which isn't going to do anything for a private account like Adsense.

            Try a direct support email from the same gmail account that was attached to your old Adsense account.

            Looks like your making things even more difficult.

              Are you saying your password does not work?

              If so, did you use a smartphone or similar with text, and add
              that number? If so, you can ask for a text to reset the password.

              Chances are, the person did not change any phone number.

              You most assuredly should not have tried to sign up again.

              But since you did, one can assume that the account that you are
              locked out of was not worth keeping.

                I can access the g mail account, and I implemented all security measures today. cannot access Adsense account yet my ads are showing.

                  I discovered my account was hacked and sold to another guy Its been very frustrating seeing someone holding me at ransom. I have since posted it again on their forum

                  Google allows change of primary ad sense email. The hacker took over the account changed details and locked me completely out. I can't believe this is happening to me!

                    Pay attention.

                    Adsense accounts are private, contact Adsense support, not public forums.

                    Even your latest public forum thread (your link) is telling you the same thing.

                    Ok, but Adsense staff doesn't respond in this forum so I'm not sure how you expect to get their verdict & they won't even look into it from your post here.
