High PR Network RELEVANCY

Does anyone have any experience in linking an unrelated site in their PR network to their money site?

At the moment I am finding it difficult to get enough expired domains in the medical niche, what kind of results would I get if I bought a totally unrelated expired domain? Should I upload content in the same niche as before or change it to the same content on my money site?

After bought the expired domain, change all ie: title, meta description to your money site relevant.

The domain itself doesn't have to be in your niche (although it helps if it is). As long as the existing backlinks are good and it's not in a spammy niche like viagra or something it should only help. What matters the most is the content you put on it after acquiring it - make sure it's relevant and decent quality. And then start building some niche-relevant links to it.

Make absolutely certain that the domain you are buying has NOT been used for spammy SEO. Check the backlinks to the site. That'll tell you all you need.

It doesn't have to be niche-related at all. Helpful, of course, but not required. The content you put on it, especially at first, must be first-rate, and that includes social-signals.

Hold off on any link-building until the content you've put on that domain has been indexed.

Lastly, I carefully silo all content on any new domain so that there can be no mistaking what the 'new' site is all about.

    Good luck!

Maybe your searching for the wrong things. Loosen the search parameters & search for domains with broader same/similar niche link profiles.

Example, If your selling health insurance there's plenty of related subjects for both health & insurance. It doesn't have to be both keywords per backlink domain to still be relevant.

    I agree with Yukon.

I really don't think you'd have a hard time at all sourcing domains that are within a broad "health" niche that should suit your needs just fine.

Relevancy of links from high PR domains isn't important.

Take a look at anyone that's using a network to rank well and you'll see relevancy isn't a thought.
