SEO for new site?

Use Yoast plugin to help you get an idea of where to take your onsite SEO. You'll learn how to do it yourself eventually, but it's good to refer to Yoast for another perspective.

Unless you know how to make SEO, don't blast your site with links. That is the exact opposite of seeming like organic growth.

Hey, you should firstly find keywords in your niche. With the update of Google Hummingbird, long-tail keywords are good choices. And then create some great contents with these target keywords. After that you should start building your backlinks. Remember that unique and useful contents have become more and more important when talking about SEO.

The strategy for a new site should be as careful as it possible. Because there is a great opportunity to be caught by Google penalties. You should be very careful and check everything you want to do.

Follow this simple instructions for a new site to avoid google penalty and to improve traffic.

1. Do thorough Keyword research and find good target keywords. Finding atleast 30 low competition keywords with good potential to rank in first page of google is good.

2. Post 1 article everyday(for each keyword) for atleast two weeks (this is 14-15 articles - one on each keyword)

3. Start building links yourself through blog commenting, guest posting etc for atleast a month or two. By this time your articles would have been indexed by google and will see that links are coming in naturally to your site.

4. Then outsource SEO work. You can find Warriors providing excellent SEO services. Check reviews by real warriors before you buy. You can also buy SEO services at SeoClerks but be ultra careful, almost 90% of the gigs at SC are created by bots and the sites can get flagged by Google.

This is the best way to rank your website safely. Ofcourse you can outsource some of the work in points 1 and 2.

If your website is atleast 2 years old, you have a better chance of getting away with bulk backlink creation by outsourcing. It is always better to check if the SEO specialist is capable of "drip feeding" the links so that the link building looks natural in the eyes of google.

Follow these ideas and you will be fine!

There are a number of Wordpress Plugins that you can use that will help you with your site's on page optimization. Two of my favorites are: https://wordpress.org/plugins/all-in-one-seo-pack/ and https://wordpress.org/plugins/wordpress-seo/

Since your website is new, I recommend creating a steady amount of backlinks overtime.

Try not to outsource SEO until you know what you are buying...most SEO services only offer "part of" the picture. SEO is comprehensive.

@hramki has some good points. It all starts from Keyword Research, selection, mapping and then, content marketing built around the keywords and your business goals.

Don't forget to get your headings and paragraphs sorted out on-page. Like one H1 tag, one H2 tag, many H3 tags if needed and Paragrpahes per page.

First of all I would like to tell you that in SEO there is not a fix number of backlinks in SEO to get ranking. As per the current trend and updates of Search engines you do not have to create many or steady backlinks, you must have to create back links on High PR sites with quality content and promote it to the relevant site. It will really helps you the most.
