Hi,

I hope some of you can help me with a small question.

I'm looking for a tool that will allow me to insert a list of keywords. The tool need to analyze each keyword and output the result. I need to know how hard each keyword is to rank, how hard the competition is and how much work is required to rank each keyword (Backlinks, PR, DA etc.).

Can be a program or online service, must be great and accurate
Maybe even tell me how many searches each keyword receive etc.

Does such software exist? Any recommendations?

, Kenneth

  • Hi Kenneth,

I have software that can do everything you're looking for: enter your website and a list of keywords and you'll get a report telling you how competitive your website would be for each keyword, along with CPC and search volume. You can drill down on each of the competitors to get # backlinks, PA, DA, anchor text, page relevancy, website relevancy, etc.

Here's what one of the reports looks like:

It's not free, but there is a 30-day free trial. Try it out and please let me know what you think!

Other options that I'm aware of are Long Tail Pro, Market Samurai, and SerpIQ.

  • Heres the problem. Developing bulk checking tools creates alot of problems for the developers - memory usage , programs locking up, customers burning up proxies, threading etc.

Put that together with only being useful to some power users and theres no incentive to take on the headaches. Your best and only option is to find a good tool and automate it yourself by using a tool like Winautomation. Basically you set it up to open the software (or login if its online) and to enter the keywords from a list in a text file. If you intend to use your computer system for other things at the same time then you need to setup the automation on a VPS or in something like virtuabox (runs a virtual desktop in a dedicated window). If its all browser based then you need nothing else

So not something you just buy and run but the only way to get good competition research in bulk.

Good research is hard to come by in any one tool much less to have bulk features as well.

    • There's a guys out there that build hundreds of sites a month, have outsourced the entire process, except for one thing keyword research. Each keyword is still checked manually.

There's one thing no tool can replicate, and that's your gut intuition. As some of the others have mentioned I can't think of one that actually looks at the link profiles of the top 10 and analyzes them accurately, much less for a bulk search.

No doubt that the current tools can be improved upon, and made better. However, at the end of the day choosing the right keywords is still going to require a one-by-one approach.
