Hi,
I am struggling to find a niche, I would like you to review my steps to see if I am in the right direction...

A. I went to adword planner and search for "Headache".
110K monthly searches.
3.15$ per click.
competition is low
this indicates me that there is some bidding going on.
B. I went to google, I see that there are some ads about it.
C. Amazon has products about it.
D. Ebay has products about it.
E. in google result, there is only one site in the first page targeting headache in the domain name.

Questions:
1. I have some more examples like that, is that something you think I can go for?
2. I can Buy some articles from doctors ,review products from ebay and amazon, can it work?
3. Is my process for searching niche ok?

Thank you

The keyword headache is fine for a root keyword but not good for traffic. Think about it, what would a person expect by searching for the word headache?

    Target specific keywords/problems/questions:
    • How to get rid of a headache
    • Why do I keep getting headaches
    • Does drug-x cause headaches
    • etc...

The competition column you see in the Keyword Planner is for Adwords (paid ads) not organic SEO.

So as an example going with a domain containing the words: "headache relief" will be ok?
publishing unique high quality articles and some back links will will generate some traffic?

      Thank you

"Headache relief," or a similar keyword, is going to be way too competitive. Yukon is correct in that you need to think of the types of questions people would be typing into Google for your main keyword.

This leads to a bunch of low(ish) competition keywords and higher conversions.

I would choose a different keyword... MUCH DIFFERENT. Your visitors could be interested in WHAT's headache, WHEN do you have a headache, HOW to prevent a headache... TARGET another keyword. Example ---> How to prevent a headache?
