There's definitely some big changes going on from what I can tell. It started over the weekend. SERPS are crazy right now and a lot of bouncing going on in the industries I monitor.

The keywords/SERPs I target are business as usual. Just another day.

It's nice to pretend nothing is going on and that it's just another update after an update same like every day but we all know that's not the case.

Serp's have been extremely jumpy the last 2 weeks, however most affected are once again affiliate and lead gen type of sites and/or thin/low quality sites.

Most normal (business) sites haven't seen much change.

The somewhat more black hat type of approaches like multiple 301 redirects seems to be ignored when you have too many of them.

Pages with affiliate links above the fold are losing rankings quickly.

Duplicate content seems to be punished harder, even if it only comes from read more snippets like WP automatically creates.

        That type of things mostly.

Either way it seems more Panda then Penguin related and very focused on delivering quality to the end user and it seems Google is doing a pretty good job at that right now. Although there are always exceptions of sites that rank amazingly well while doing everything wrong.

I've seen several thin sites gain some rankings over the last few days in the top ten only to be on page 4 or 5 after today. Of the niches I'm in today was the most volatile day.

I just woke up so let's see what Serpfox shows, although they are sometimes a little late so maybe have to wait for tomorrow.
