I'm in a weird situation.

I'm testing out a very targeted market, i am only going to be ranking for one keyword and will use 7 articles that i own as fillers to provide information to parents. I have found about 70 of these little markets.

- I plan on using adsense as a monetization method. and posting the same articles for all of these little domains, if the first one works out well.

WILL THIS DUPLICATE CONTENT RUIN MY ADSENSE ACCOUNT.

Google doesn't ban you for using content that is duplicate that you don't
own. Why would they ban you just for that?

Gasbuddy.com has taken your idea to the max.

Excuse me, I guess my real question is concerned with ranking and being slapped not my ad sense account being banned.

what if i use duplicate content for backlinks? that is my real question.

That isn't "duplicate content". That's syndicated content. It won't harm you. (It would be "duplicate content" only if you had multiple copies of the same text within one domain.)

Gasbuddy.com has no trouble ranking for
        gas prices
        gas prices los angeles
        gas prices texas
        gas prices whereever,

And the searches go to literally hundreds of websites that have
        99% of the same thing.

Most of their websites just have different widgets for whatever location
        you are looking for.

Just do a search for los angeles gas prices. Heck, they even use
the same gasbuddy.com logo with no shame.
Check out the plethora of links to the same content across the
        board. For example:

        californiagasprices.com/Tips.aspx
        Compare with:
        gasbuddy.com/gb_tips.aspx

Well, last time I checked, your title was:
"can your adsense account get banned for duplicate content that you own"

So, excuse me for misreading. I thought you actually meant banned.
