Look in your niche how many of them are ranking with organic links and how many of those links were obviously paid or built by an SEO?

What's your site about, what are you selling?

If your creating your own product/service, barter for links If necessary.

Nobody would have a need to pay for organic links,
because a paid link is not organic.

Perhaps you mean more, better links. Give people a reason to link to
you. But sometimes you gotta pay. Peruse the forum for link tips.

Great content is in the eye of the beholder. Nobody could ever give
a definition of great content. Wikipedia is full of crazy content, and
yet, ranks high. People can love silly, inane, useless content as much
as anything.

A organic backlinking strategy is simply about relevancy, authorization and diversity concepts.
Is this link coming from a relevant source?
Was the source of this link written by an authoritative, influential person or business?
By adding this link to my web presence am I diversifying and adding value to my digital footprint?
If yes, your links is organic.

If you are paying for link, its not organic. Organic links will come naturally. You will need a 'great' website for that or you have to present your website in such a ways so that other people think your website is great .
