Where Did My Article Wind Up?

Hi,

Let's say that I have written an article on a certain keyword (Example: rid your dog of fleas). It gets approved and goes live. I do a search on the title (Example: Rid Your Dog of Fleas the Easy Way) of the article in google and it shows up in the number one position. So now I know it has been indexed by Google.

Now I turn around and do a search on just the keyword itself and I can't find the article anywhere. Is there any easy way to find the article other than going down Google's massive list manually, page by page, to determine the actual page rank position of the article that I have written? I have never seen this question answered anywhere. Thanks.

There's plenty of software about that can help and for a couple of keywords it's usually a free download. Stuff like Internet business Promoter or Web CEO. At the end of the day, your article will rank in different places for different keywords, there's no 'one' position on Google.
