Looking for ideas to monetize - Design giveaway site - PR4 - 400,000PV

Hi Warriors!
I’m working my way through the myriad of advertising and monetization options on the internet for my site but I’m sadly at a loss.

We're currently attracting about 75,000 UV's per month with about 400,000 PV per month

Despite the high number of views I don’t feel the site is monetized close to its potential.

Adsense is woeful and is just enough to cover hosting costs. BSA is good when you can fill the spots but advertisers prefer fixed price and not CPM.

We have a mailing list of 10,000+ which he have monetization with two partners for paid posts but I’m always looking for more options.

Affiliate links to creative market are alright but they only pay a 10% commission rate which is not that high. The deals page is also not performing great.

Any ideas appreciated

    You can always look at creating a subscription section in which people pay monthly or annually, in this you can offer in depth how t's not available in the main site, ebooks etc. You may need to skip the idea of advertising as its break even at best and create the value for the subscription.
