Local Seo, 1 main site plus 2 exact match

Here is the situation. A client has 1 main website www dot brandname dot com, they also have 2 exact match domains www dot keyword1 dot com & www dot keyword2 dot com

They also have 1 main Google Places/Plus Local Page

Could I just make a copy of the main brand page, upload the site to both exact match domains & then start the process of ranking these 2 exact match domains as well?

For citations, can I use the same NAP & embed the Google Plus Local page into the 2 additional keyword domains as well?

  • Don't copy from main domain or build citations/embed Google plus page for EMDs, it may outrank the main site or even drop all three sites from local serps (7 pack). Optimize for the main domain and build citations only for the main domain.

      PLUS don't even put NAP on the other 2. Or at least only put in an image for customers with no image alt that includes NAP.

      Most people don't realize the problems additional local sites can cause for the main business ranking. There is one really important problem specifically that can come back to bite you when you do additional niche sites.
