  • Anything in the region of 155 is usually considered "optimal" and I've been getting good results from that. My predecessor had all our descriptions in the 120-140 range; bumping them upto 155 with our USP's in there increased our CTR quite a lot.

    I am trying to experiment with various Description tags of varied character counts like 145-150 or 150-160, still not sure which one will show my description tag completely in the search results. During the R&D I conducted, Google is showing a lot of variations after New Google Update. Please suggest....
