First time Backlinking advice

Hi Guys,

I am new to backlinking so just looking for abit of advice before I get my website black listed from search engines etc.....

Has anyone used this website Backlink Builder

I just tried it and searched for my keyword, related topic and found a few sites PR 3 and 4 which allows me to submit my url to their site.
Should I do this? or will the search engines look down on this?

Also will having my website url in my signature on here have any inpact, negative or positive etc..?

    Interesting tool. It returned a lot of directories for me when I typed in my keyword. I saw some competitors who don't rank well who had their links on these directories. Certainly you can get some juice but I wouldn't over do it. Editorial links in the main content of a page are what you should be shooting for.

    I agree with Matt on this one. There is nothing wrong if you use a couple of websites for linkbuilding in a short period. Just don't overuse them.Interesting tool BTW.

    Good tools but if they generate organic backlink with white hat method it's ok , if not this is only one reason to got penalty.

    If the sites are not Spammy, and have good content and authority then go for it!

    Google is tricky now a days, so keep it natural unless you will get penalty.

    I would recommend to build banklinks slowly but continually.
