how to win from these sites?

hello i had site on entertainment in movies nich but these sites always come up on first

imdb.com
wiki.com
rottentomatos.com
i am trying to rankfor keyword for example frozen but always these sites come up first b/c of their domain authrity please tell me and explain how can i outrank these sites for specific keywords how much qulity links i need

  • I am no expert in SEO but I can tell you, to rank for a keyword like Frozen above the big authrity sites will be very hard ( not impossible) Your best bet is to target long tail keywords that are easier to rank for that way you will be able to generate traffic and boost your own authrity at the same time.
  • You can't outrank those sites.... You should have a BIG website with a very HIGH authority to rank for VERY GOOD keywords. That's why there are also SECONDARY KEYWORDS (or even long-tail keywords!) Try ranking for them!
  • they rank for thier domain authority the page on imdb about frozen has only 1k links can i still cant win from them

    • A thousand that you can see. No backlink checker will show you all the links. And none of them show you the amount of internal links the page has.

      It's not hard to consistently beat sites like that. You just need to spend 5-6 years building a legitimately worthwhile authority site, like they did.

    or what about "Semi-Frozen" and "Frozen Solid", the respective prequel and sequel to the Frozen movie.

  • Those sites are big players in SERP..You can't outrank them..But you can be active in social networking sites so that you get enough traffic and people recognize your site name without searching for keywords..
