For ranking a website using youtube video (and other methods don't freak out) is it better to have backlinks for your video's url or to embed it on a page? I guess my question is to get a good rank for a video would you rather backlink on a high DA page, for example on a high DA/PA blog post put a text hyperlink to the YT url with good anchor text, or would you rather embed your video on that high DA/PA blog post? Does Google look at that differently.

Then, in turn, when that is a high ranking video embed it on my site?
