Black hat seo

Hello,

I bought backlinks from a provider on WF, but those backlinks might be a black hat technique. The backlinks are coming from forum comments.

This provider did not provide proper work, such as the backlinks are missing, and a keyword is wrong. He told me that "I will resend you report."

Today I got the report again.
When I checked them out,
1) 2 backlinks in same keywords are coming from same Forum websites.
2) The comments are same.
For example, he commented 2days ago for a backlink.
And the comment and backlink are xxxxxABC. myurl.com
Today, I got same comment and backlink: xxxxxABC. myurl.com
I heard that this technique can have more chances to get G penalty.
Is this black hat SEO technique?

Thanks

  • I wouldn't call it blackhat. I would call it low quality crap. I hope you were not having the links pointed at anything you care about.

    • In black hat technique, spun contents are used. But in my case, "two same contents in the same forum " are used. Super black hat technique?

Yes, my main website URL is linked with them.

  • but wouldn't google recognize its spam and lower it in the ranks?
  • Seriously, don't buy backlinks unless you're 100% certain they'll be of good quality and match your expectations (or at least 99%). Hurting your site with bad links is all too easy these days, especially if it's a new site.

    • Yes I am agree with @RichardF
      Don't buy..
    • Better just do NOT buy backlinks!
    • Yes, I usually ask them to show samples before I purchase. But this time, I neglected because he has good reviews. But after I purchased I realized that he asked me to say "I place an order" in his all threads. This SEO provider is worst ever.

      YES.

      I agree with you.

It is about 18 links. The forum site has high PR, but this provider's work will give a good result in the short run, in the long run, it will give a bad result and lower the rank.
  • Yeah looks like low quality work. I would be careful with where you get links from now on. A lot of people prey on SEO newbies which is unfortunate
  • Why you haven't asked him sample before taking his service? Always ask to see samples of previous work. If he don't deliver the same quality, ask for refund, chargeback or to replace the links. Anyway, if you have just few of links like that you don't need to worry.

    black hat techniques are
    Stuffing keywords
    link exchange
    Article marketing

Try to avoid these your website will Grow
  • I requested him the refund through WF.

Only one of 4 keywords moved from 21st to 17th. The rest stays same. Anyways I am really disappointed this provider's clap work.

I wonder this provider uses same contents for everyone. This provider is just pursing MONEY only. Not professional at all.

I'm not getting between you & some crappy link selling service but looking at your past comments I can see where you've complained on the sales thread. I can also see where you should have already known the links were junk before you paid out any money.

Anytime a link seller mentions junk link sources like the list below (from the sales thread you posted in), you should have already known better than to be buying those links.
      • EDU BACKLINKS
      • SOCIAL BOOKMARKS
      • ARTICLES SUBMISSION
      • DIRECTORY SUBMISSIONS
      • PRESS RELEASE SUBMISSIONS
      • 1000 ANGELA'S AND PAUL'S PROFILE BACKLINKS

Even If you didn't buy that specific sales package & instead bought a similar package from the same sales thread, you have no room to complain about anything. The junk link types are clearly presented at the top of the OP sales thread.

Be responsible for your own actions. If you didn't already know those link types are junk (list from sales thread) that's your own problem. You should have taken the time to do the research & get a 2nd, 3rd, 4th... opinions from people that aren't link sellers.

I also find it hard to believe that you thought you were buying links on low OBL pages, again the sales thread OP clearly pointed out the link types (link blasting gigs).

I'm in no way taking sides, If it was up to me that WSO would be deleted because it's clearly selling forum spam links. My point is pay attention to what your buying (before you buy).

  • That's the problem when you purchase links uninformed, it's best to ask these questions before purchasing the links.

Forum links are generally low quality these days, there are ways to get good forum links that are dofollow and will help send a bit of linkjuice your way.

However most of it these days is crap, low quality, spun garbage profile links which can cause a lot of problems down the road.

Google's gotten pretty wise about crappy low quality links, all thanks to the crowdsourced disavow tool everyone runs to hoping it does something beneficial. Newsflash, it doesn't. You are just helping show Google your low quality crap links that they can then turn around and punish you for later.

  • You got to back out of that situation now. If you can remove those links, do it as soon as possible. You will get hit one of these days, and those links won't be any good to you anyway.
  • Before you get bent up, you can easily disavow links. If they are NOFOLLOW then there is nothing to worry about (but still disavow).

If you pressure the seller to remove the links, that might be impossible since he most likely used a tool to build the links and a tool almost always do not have an "UNDO" feature.

    • The forums that ppl can leave comments without signing in. That means once you leave a comment them, you have to contact to owners of the forums. So my provider also has to contact them. I asked the provider to remove all, and he reported some that he removed. When I checked them out, they are still there. So I contacted them one by one, which took a lot of my time. Still I have to keep check and contact again and again.... Cannot believe that spammer.
  • Yes, I think it is a low quality work. I am not in a favor of buying links. But if you are doing these look at a good SEO company, firstly take some sample of their work. Ensure that they are good enough for providing healthy backlink. In that case only I think buying links are good because low quality backlinks are not good for your website's image. And yes making use of same contents again and again comes under spam.

    • I agree.

I thought WSO quality is good, but it is actually not real.
  • Its a low quality work, if you continue with this definitely google will consider as this as a spam.
