found an amazing domain with links from PR6!, advice needed

What do i do with the site now ? Bring back all the old content and site or start fresh using whatever i want to.

I am so amped up and excited because there are two freakin PR6 sites linking to it! the site PR shows as 1 but probably because it was dropped. There are not a lot of links coming to it though, majestic shows 79 with CF/TF of 15 and 9 while OSE shows DA of 23 and PA of 34.

I don't want those sites to stop linking so restoring old content will the best approach ?

  • Are you sure those links still exist? Tools like Ahrefs and Majestic are unreliable for this.

    Are they legit links or blog comment kind of junk? How many other links are on those pages?

    Sorry to burst your bubble, but you may have spent a few hundred dollars on nothing more than a PR 1. The other metrics don't line up to well with typical PR 6 domains.
  • Actually nvm, i spoke too damn soon because someone already snatched it before me and the site i am using was showing as unregistered when in fact it wasn't.

    In case you are curious, this was the domain biotechnologistes.fr

    The question still stands, should old content be brought back or start fresh and if that has any effect on google's rank etc.

  • Wouldn't matter now as that domain is a goner.
  • I can confirm that there's two dofollow backlink that are from a PR6 page, still up, and seem legit. But as I said, from just one page.

    Lots of nofollow links, but many of them from decent sources. Not a bad domain if the price was right (fairly low).
