Forwarding vs Direct pointing

Hello all. Quick question:
I have a few domain names and one site between them. Is it better SEO-wise to attach one domain to the main site and have the others forwarded OR do I point each domain name to that folder in the directory directly.
For example, my hosting company has a similar domain forwarding to Godaddy, for those who are familiar with it. I can forward and mask pretty easily. Just as easily, I can go into my hosting account and set up secondary domains that also point directly to my site.
