Well, it certainly shows you are doing a great job with rankings. I guess the real question now is what you are doing with the traffic you are receiving as a result.

Great job and keep at it ! My question, if you were to sell your SEO to a company, how do you prove to them that you did this in x amount of time? A twice daily printout of it seems a little "old fashioned". There has to be some kind of tool or software for that purpose? Again, congrats!

Article marketing is basically using an article to draw attention to your offers.

You write or have written for your a 350 plus piece of content related to your offer and then you can submit it to the major article directories.

At the end of the article you are allowed to leave info ( and a link ) about yourself/offer etc that must accompany your article.

- People visiting the article directories can view your article & visit your offer:

- Webmasters in need of content can take your article and put it on their site:

- The article can show up on the first page of a search engine result and you can get visitors that way also.

- You can take the article and transform it into blog posts and other forms of online content. ( this is called re-purposing content )

Of course there's a dozen article marketing strategies etc., but this should give you a clear idea of what article marketing is.

Marketing with content may be the only traffic strategy you'll ever need.

For Article Marketing I use those and a few others. All free services.

As for what I am doing with the traffic, I am building a list from a floating action button that shows up after about 10 seconds on all pages.

If you don't mind sharing.... when you say posting backlinks, do you mean Angela Edwards style links from High PR sites, Social Bookmarks or some other type of backlinks?

Great job. I think it is important to mix your linking strategies up a little like you're doing. It looks more natural this way. I think a combination of different types of inbound links is what's giving you a good nudge in the SERPS.

Wow! So I kept at it and it went up by about one spot a day for a while. til it stopped at #4 still on page 2. So I hit the Articles a little harder over the next few days, and yesterday it popped to page one, at the #9 spot. I gotta tell you I was psyched!

I was too busy yesterday on other sites to do anything further, so I was in Shock and Awe to wake up this AM in the #1 spot on Page 1!!!!!

Now I am not posting this to brag...

The point I am going to make is that I did this in just over 2 weeks and I want to point out something about the people I jumped over.

When I was at the #4 spot on page 2 for a few days I started to research the sites immediately ahead of me. The next 4 sites all showed that they had over ten times the number of backlinks that my site had.

You can imagine my reaction. "Crap! It's going to take me forever to overcome this!"

Decided to keep plugging anyway. Well, I still don't show more than 15% of the links most of these sites do, but I do compete favorably as to those with that exact anchor texted keyword!

The point I am making is that Google can be cracked by each of us for whatever keyword we choose if we just work at it! I am a technophobe at heart and quite a few of the SEO discussions I come across are so far over my head it isn't funny.

I just got an IM telling me that I am down to #6 now, but that's ok!!

I will be back up there as I am doing the things I do continually...

Hope this encourages somebody out there!

I was curious to about when you created this site? You said you did all this in two weeks which is what promted my question. If you site is new sometimes google will rank you higher in the beginning and then reshuffle a bit after it has gotten a chance to index and compare the other sites youre competing with. I also didnt see any page rank on your site and for such a highly competitive keyword I wonder how you accomplished this...

I can tell by looking at your site that you have used a lot of the semantic key phrases that are related to "internet marketing" and I think google looks favorably at this instead of repeating your key phrase throughout your site. So I would say well done on that.

You have a couple 404 page links on your right side bar so I would get that fixed because I think that will play a role in your rankings if google sees that you have some links that are dead on your page.

But I got a lot of good info on your site and im probably going to add some of the strategies you use to mine.

I have shown up over the past several hours as anything from #1-6. I use WorldProxy202 so that my own visits to the site don't influence it. I know that Google serps are a fluid situation, but also know that my own efforts are dynamic as well.

Yes, I do use Angela and Paul's services but I do a few additional things elsewhere to build my backlinks. I'd tell you, but then... You know!!

I am still showing up at #5 pretty static now. Am using WorldProxy202 as I said before so the results should be the raw results not influenced by my own visits/history...
