Does your average high SEO metrics/authority website owner understand SEO?

...Because if they don't I can't understand why all the questions revolving around precision to detail in SEO...

things like anchor text diverse percentages and the amount of links on a page and where they are placed seem so redundant to ask especially if you are trying to appear like you got the link naturally...

the average person who gives you a link naturally doesn't know SEO.

They know basic website skills like maybe how a CMS like WP works from the dashboard and things like that.

When these people give you a link on their site they are probably doing it "wrong" hahaha.

Just a thought before you people go obsessing over your SEO trivial details lol

I have a couple of niche authority sites, they've been getting links built by traffic for years (still happening today).

A person that doesn't understand SEO doesn't need to know much to build a link, even copy/pasting a URL on some sites converts the URL into a clickable hyperlink. If the keyword is in the URL, the same keyword is in the anchor-text (for that example).

    It's not complicated.

Lets talk about anchor text. Should it really matter?

is "click here" bad anchor text even if you are on a high authority site?

Click here might be useful for encouraging direct traffic to click the link but it's not helping as far as keyword anchor-text (SEO).

If that backlink website/page is focused on the same/similar niche as the money site, example, keyword in backlink page title, I think the click here anchor-text is ok as far as SEO since the page title, on-page text already has the keyword covered. Still, I would prefer a followed keyword rich anchor-text link If possible.

    Hi,

It sounds to me like the OP is mad about something. Why else would someone post a thread like this one?
