Audio Sharing

One of the strategies that I'm using to market/promote my website is uploading sound bites to audio hosting sites. I'm not comfortable using my voice, and there's no one I can ask to do it for me, so I use a computer-generated voice to read a spiel for me.

However, I understand that this is not something that a human being would want to listen to. I've thought of uploading music instead, but I don't know where to get mp3s without infringing copyrights.

Would there be anything else I can do to further improve this strategy?

  • Hey ewanskie

You can actually outsource this on www.Fiverr.com. . there are many people there offering services to do professional voice overs and promote peoples products via video. . . Plus, you can even upload your video to promote your website on YouTube!

Hope this was of some help to you!

  • I'm a bit confused at the benefit you're getting from this. Are you getting traffic?

  • I assume you want links out of this and not traffic right? If so then I am sure there is legal music you can purchase for use from sites like Audio Jungle.

Or maybe you can download a music making program and just throw a few loops together that way you can come up with unique stuff on the fly and for free.
  • You can buy royalty free packs of music that you can freely use and share all over the web. Personally I would buy a few voice overs from fiverr, there are actually quite a few talented voice over artists on there.
  • Fiverr, or outsourcing in general, isn't viable as an option for me right now. Might be in the future though.

Any tips on how I can find royalty-free music on the web?
