Anchor text in articles?

I've been doing some manual web 2.0's for Tier 1 linking to my websites. I was wondering if it is still beneficial to use keyworded anchor texts in my articles? Also, is it better to place the anchor at the bottom of the article or inside the body of the article? I'm also adding generic anchors to mix it up but not sure where to place my main keyword anchors these days. Any input is appreciated!

  • Using anchor text links in articles that are on web 2.0s is actually still working very well. As long as you diversify the anchor text and make sure the articles are unique then you should be ok. The most important thing to remember when using web 2.0s as backlinks is to never create a pattern or footprint that google can easily identify. For example if you were to place all of your anchor text links on the bottom of each article, then google can easily identify the pattern and determine that your links are not natural.

With that being said I recommend you incorporate your anchor links within the body of the articles naturally.
  • It sounds like you are on the right track already. Just make sure you keep everything natural looking. Add photos and videos where it makes sense and link out to other sites as well not just yours. Wikipedia is great to link out to - just don't do it all the time. Find other authority sites in your niche and link out to them when it makes sense!
  • I think it is still beneficial to use keyworded anchor texts in your articles. You should firstly make sure your articles have been indexed by Google or other seach engines. And, in my opinions, it is better to place the anchor texts inside the body of your articles. Note: You'd better make your anchor texts diverse so that the links will be more natural.

    • Oh it's absolutely beneficial to use anchor text in web 2.0 backlinks. I do all the time and it can really give the sites a nice little boost. I typically place the links in beginning of the article but I would vary that up. Gotta look as natural as possible
  • Yes use of keyworded anchor texts in articles is beneficial, if your content have quality and you create links on keyword in between so visitor eager to know what will be on that webpage and must do a click to check out.
Use of keyworded anchor texts in bottom got a less possibility to get a click.
  • sure, also don't forget to link to your inner pages. 25 % of links should go to deep pages of your site
  • yes,its still a ranking factor for google to see keywords in the anchor text.So use it wisely.
  • It sounds link you're doing the right thing. Just make sure you have more branded links (ie website name, hopefully your site is not an EMD) than you have primary keyword. You need to also watch your anchor text as well, this is a big one.

Get links broad keyword links to your Web 2.0 sites, don't over optimized your web 2.0 sites backlinks profile
  • You will want to use the anchor text in the content itself, these are known as contextual links.

However I will give you a word of warning, you shouldn't be creating links from article directory sites and some Web 2.0's can cause link warning issues as well.

Be sure that the links you are building are indeed high quality and you won't have a problem.
  • Yes use anchor tag keyword because this is most affect your keyword because google find easily
your site also find good traffic benefit
  • now i am using website title as anchor its great for safe rank
    and main keywoards combinations
