How to properly engage website owners for infographic submission?

Most of these websites either have plain email or contact form. They always ask for explanation of what infographic is about, about research done etc.
Since I have currently completed infographic for client that offers local services, what I want to know is how should I better contact website owner and what to say. Should I say that I designed for client and want to submit on his behalf or I should use his email address to look like I am the owner?
Also should I contact from my email address or his branded domain's email? I just want to improve submission success rate.
